More and more different

Energetic paintings

The energetic paintings are creations that I realised since 1964..
They express graphic strengh relationship in the page-space.
First I fonded my works on the reproduction of natural tensions, all these properties of shapes in nature to combine together, and to be at the same time clearly distinct from the other shapes. I called these work "natural energetism". I made the shapes from the chemistry of the colored pigmentsand mediums. I shaped the graphic outline with ventilators which pushed the pigments on the wood or canvas, until I obtain the good result.
Then I went to another purpose of the expression of strength relationships with graphical constructions made of arrows patterns which shows the powers in space relations.
I called this collection: "Conceptual energetism. In both cases my intention was to create fluid dynamics shapes powerfull without fierce or aggressiveness in their colors and forms. The same attitude is in my paintings
nudes, or in my sculptures.
At least, I realised the last energetic collection in Georges Pompidou Center in 1976/78 with a computer. Its a lot of experimental graphic use of a computer, paticularly through aberrants machine work: I called them
"crazy shapes".
