Tactile paintings

I realised the first tactile paintings in 1981/82, but it is in 1992 that I started a collection which still goes on actually . The concept is to force the spectator to go over his culturals habits and his ordinaries regardor practices. Tactile painting and tactile sculpture are traps for lookings manners, They invite us to learn once more how to use eyes. The most frequent subject I painted until now is the mysterious and secret Chausey island, in the french Channel islands.


Attention:
The conception of these paintings is so that their reproduction is almost impossible. In order to give you an idea quite precise, certains reproductions are showned with explainations and detailed images.
